British Telecom, Qatar Petroleum, eircom, USAID, USDOD and the Dubai Municipality. Parsons successful involvement in flagship, one-of-a-kind projects ranges from the Messina Straits Bridge to the destruction of Cold War Weapons, from the Dubai Light Rail System to the Consolidation of Critical Telecom facilities. This diverse capability and bespoke approach to each of our projects allow our clients to receive best value, on-time, every time.

Building Consolidation
Global incumbent telecommunications firms have experienced a dramatic change in the technology utilised in their networks since their initial deployment. This network transformation has, in turn, resulted in dramatic reductions in the space requirements for telecommunications facilities, leaving large amounts of vacant space dispersed through their exchange facilities. Parsons provides Programme Management, Commercial Analysis, Design, Project and Construction Management to enable the maximisation of space and the reduction of operating costs. This process evaluates the best possible way to minimise required equipment footprints, either by a full consolidation and migration of the facility offsite, or by undertaking an onsite consolidation to optimise the value of the remaining building to a third party.

Data Centres
Whether a “Green Field” site or an existing space, Parsons has expertise and proven industry best practices to evaluate infrastructure needs currently and for the future. Our professionals are experts in the facility programming and detailed design of highly reliable (over 99.99%), 24x7 operational facilities. Using our experience, Parsons can take your data centre project from feasibility, through design and into construction and commission to meet project timelines. Our worldwide footprint provides Parsons with the local expertise to meet regulatory and permitting challenges across the globe; this allows our clients to have a single source for data centre requirements wherever they need to work. For our data centre work, Parsons has received the Design Build Institute of Americas award for Web hosting facility design and construction.
