Information for FITCE Congress attendees

Registration Opening Hours

·         Sunday 21 September               14:30 – 18:00

·         Monday 22 September               08:30 – 18:00

·         Tuesday 23 September              08:30 – 18:00

·         Wednesday 24 September         08:30 – 15:00

 

Badges

You will be given a name badges when registering. Name badges must be worn at all times to be gain access to venues. Lost badges can be replaced at the registration desk. However, a £2.50 handling fee will be charged.

Cloakroom

The cloakroom is on level 3, near the entrance to Logan Hall.

Lunch & Coffee Breaks

Lunch, coffee, tea & biscuits will be served during the session breaks to all participants wearing name badges. This will be served in the Jeffrey Hall on Monday & Tuesday and the Elvin Hall on Sunday & Wednesday.

Allergies & Dietary Requirements

Please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements by Friday 12 September 08 – email  events@theITP.org.

Mobile Phone Network Coverage

There is no mobile network coverage in Logan Hall, Jeffrey Hall or Elvin Hall. Mobile phone network coverage is available in the Crush Hall Foyer of the conference hall only. 

Language

The official language of the congress will be English (no simultaneous translation).

Smoking Policy

The Institute of Education is a non-smoking-conference centre. Designated smoking areas can be found outside the Institute of Education.

Car Parking

The nearest car park is the Royal National Hotel Car Park. This car park is located on Bedford Way, opposite the congress venue. Please click here for parking tariffs.

Staff

If you should have any questions, the congress staff (wearing yellow STAFF badges) will be pleased to help you.

Events Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests must be emailed directly to events@theitp.org 

·         Cancellations made more than 8 weeks prior to the event will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee paid.

·         Cancellations made 6 to 8 weeks prior to the event will receive a 25% refund of the registration fee paid.

·         Cancellations made less than 6 weeks prior to the event will not receive a refund.

Late Registrations

The ITP will do its utmost to accommodate late registrations wherever possible.

Social Events - A few tickets are still available for the Ofcom Drinks Reception and the Gala Dinner. The organising committee cannot guarantee to be able to cater for allergies or dietary requirements at this stage.

Name Badges – The name badges have been professionally printed. Thus anyone registering after Friday 12 September will have a typed name badge.
