PASADENA, CA (August 17, 2007) - Parsons is pleased to announce that Gary J. Gray was recently hired as Vice President and Senior Business Development Manager for Parsons’ Energy, Systems & Security (ESS) Division, which provides complex design, engineering, and support services to various federal agencies for nationwide and site-specific projects.
Mr. Gray brings to Parsons more than 27 years of experience in defense acquisition programs ranging from basic research to advanced and full-scale development. After retiring from the U.S. Department of Defense in 2003, he served as Vice President for a technology solutions company where he was responsible for business development, profit/loss, and program management.
While at the Department of Defense, Mr. Gray served in the Office of the Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics and was responsible for the oversight of the Army, Marine Corps/Navy, Air Force and Special Operations programs. In this capacity, Mr. Gray worked with the Federal Aviation Administration, National Aeronautical and Space Administration, and other federal agencies.

Mr. Gray is a certified Level III Acquisition Professional, and he holds both a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in management engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He will be based in Fairfax, Virginia.
