Welsh Modern Apprenticeship Awards 08 – Deadline for applications 31st July 2008 at 1pm
The ITP is proud to support the Welsh Modern Apprenticeship Awards. These awards showcase Modern Apprentices, businesses and providers of learning that have made outstanding contributions to learning through the Modern Apprenticeship programme. By entering these awards, you will automatically be entered into consideration for the ITP Apprentice of the Year Award*
The ITP and Welsh Assembly Government are looking for apprentices that:
- demonstrate that effective investment in training pays
- share best practice approaches
- show a dedication and commitment to the Modern Apprenticeship programme
- contribute to an organisation’s success
- identify and publicise exemplars of effective training
The Learner Award
This award will honour the dedication and commitment of Apprentices who have chosen the MA route to further their career prospects. To be eligible you must have completed or currently be undertaking a Foundation Modern Apprenticeship of Modern Apprenticeship Framework in Wales.
Entries should demonstrate one or more of the following:
- Proven commitment by an apprentice to continued personal development.
- A contribution to the business or to supporting other apprentices.
- An example of where they have overcome the odds to succeed in their chosen field.
To register please download, read and then complete the entry form, attached below. Please ensure that you read the guidance notes at the beginning of the entry form carefully before you complete it.

Winners of the Modern Apprenticeship Awards will be announced at a sparkling awards ceremony at Cardiff City Hall on 23rd October 2008. Winners of the ITP Apprentice of the Year Award will be announced at the ITP Annual Dinner held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London on 8th October 2008.
