These terms and conditions govern your access to and use of this website (“Website”) and apply to any correspondence between us and you. Please read these terms carefully before using the Website. By accessing and using the Website you agree that you have read and accept these terms and conditions and that they shall apply to your use regardless of whether or not you choose to register with us. If you do not accept these Terms, do not use this Website.


1.1 This Website is operated by The Institute of Telecommunications Professionals (“ITP”) a company registered in England and Wales with its principal place of business at Sunbury TE Green Street Sunbury-on-Thames Middlesex TW16 6QJ and with company registration number 04442329. Should you need to contact us you may do so by one of the methods listed in paragraph 13.

1.2 In these terms and conditions (“Terms”): ITP may be referred to as “we” or “us”; “you” refers to the person who is accessing this Website; “Members” are the persons who have subscribed for membership of “The Institute of Telecommunications Professionals”.

1.3 You may access most areas of this Website without registering your details with us. Certain areas of this Website are only open to you if you register or are a Member.

1.4 By accessing any part of this Website, you shall be deemed to have accepted the Terms in full. If you do not accept the Terms in full, you must leave this Website immediately.

1.5 ITP may revise the Terms at any time by updating this posting. You should check this Website from time to time to review the then current Terms, because they are binding on you.

1.6 Via this Website you may gain access to the commercial products and services of ITP. In addition to these Terms the provision of such products and services will be governed by such additional terms and conditions as you may be made aware of at the time of ordering.


2.1 Registration to the Website is only available to Members. In order to register with the Website Members are required to submit their first and last names, address, email address, telephone number(s), preferred user name and password and their membership number. ITP will use this information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Members will need to enter their username and password in order to access certain parts of the Website.

2.2 We may suspend and/or terminate (either in whole or in part) your use of any user name, password or this Website immediately for any reason in our absolute discretion.

2.3 Each registration is for a single user only. ITP does not permit you to share your user name and password with any other person nor with multiple users on a network. Responsibility for the security of any passwords issued rests with you.


3.1 You are permitted to print and download extracts from this Website for your own personal use on the following basis:

3.1.1 no documents or related graphics on this Website are modified in any way;

3.1.2 no graphics on this Website are used separately from accompanying text.

3.2 Unless otherwise stated, the copyright and other intellectual property rights in all material on this Website (including without limitation photographs and graphical images) are owned by ITP or its licensors. For the purposes of these Terms, any use of extracts from this Website other than in accordance with paragraph 3.1 above for any purpose is prohibited. If you breach any of the provisions in these Terms, your permission to use this Website automatically terminates and you must immediately destroy any downloaded or printed extracts from this Website.

3.3 Subject to paragraph 3.2, no part of this Website may be reproduced or stored in any other website or included in any public or private electronic retrieval system or service without ITP’s prior written permission.

3.4 Any rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.


4.1 While ITP endeavours to ensure that this Website is normally available 24 hours a day, ITP shall not be liable if for any reason this Website is unavailable at any time or for any period.

4.2 Access to this Website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond ITP’s control.


5.1 Other than personally identifiable information, which is covered under the Privacy Policy, any material you transmit or post to this Website shall be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. ITP shall have no obligations with respect to such material. ITP and its designees shall be free to copy, disclose, distribute, incorporate and otherwise use such material and all data, images, sounds, text and other things embodied therein for any and all commercial or non-commercial purposes.

5.2 You are prohibited from posting or transmitting to or from this Website any material:

5.2.1 that is threatening, defamatory, obscene, indecent, seditious, offensive, pornographic, abusive, liable to incite racial hatred, discriminatory, menacing, scandalous, inflammatory, blasphemous, in breach of confidence, in breach of privacy or which may cause annoyance or inconvenience; or

5.2.2 for which you have not obtained all necessary licences and/or approvals; or

5.2.3 which constitutes or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise be contrary to the law of or infringe the rights of any third party, in the UK or any other country in the world; or

5.2.4 which is technically harmful (including, without limitation, computer viruses, logic bombs, Trojan horses, worms, harmful components, corrupted data or other malicious software or harmful data).

5.3 You may not misuse the Website (including, without limitation, by hacking).

5.4 ITP shall fully co-operate with any law enforcement authorities, court order or regulatory body requesting or directing ITP to disclose the identity or locate anyone posting any material in breach of paragraph 5.2 or paragraph 5.3.


6.1 Links to third party websites on this Website are provided solely for your convenience. If you use these links, you leave this Website. ITP has not reviewed all of these third party websites and does not control and is not responsible for these websites or their content or availability. ITP therefore does not endorse or make any representations about them, or any material found there, or any results that may be obtained from using them. If you decide to access any of the third party websites linked to this Website, you do so entirely at your own risk.

6.2 Should you wish to create links to this Website you must apply to us in writing and enter into our Website linking licence. ITP expressly reserves the right to revoke said licence at any time upon notice or for breach of these Terms and to take any action it deems appropriate.

6.3 You shall fully indemnify ITP for any loss or damage suffered by ITP or any of its group companies for breach of paragraph 6.2.


7.1 While ITP endeavours to ensure that the information on this Website is correct, ITP does not warrant the accuracy and completeness of the material on this Website. ITP may make changes to the material on this Website, or to the products and prices described in it, at any time without notice. The material on this Website may be out of date, and ITP makes no commitment to update such material.

7.2 The material on this Website is provided “as is”, without any conditions, warranties or other terms of any kind. 9.2 Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit ITP’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence (as such term is defined by the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977) or fraud.

9.3 If your use of material on this Website results in the need for servicing, repair or correction of equipment, software or data, you assume all costs thereof.


10.1 The provisions of this paragraph 10 apply to all competitions operated by or on behalf of ITP.

10.2 Prizes are non-transferable, non-negotiable and no cash alternatives will be offered. ITP reserve the right to substitute the prize for another prize of equal value. When dates are specified they can not be altered.

10.3 By entering the competition, the entrant agrees to be bound by the rules and by any other requirements set out in the material accompanying the competition.

10.4 By entering the competition, the entrant agrees to the terms of the privacy policy. In addition ITP may pass your personal information to connected parties and their data processors. However, we always demand that those parties adhere to comparable security procedures to those that we follow ourselves.

10.5 By entering the competition, the winner(s) consent to any publicity generated as a result of the competition, and the use of their image and name on the Website and in marketing materials at any time.


11.1 ITP reserves the right to assign or transfer all or any of its rights and obligations under these Terms to any of its group companies or to any other third party. In the event of assignment or transfer, notification will either be given to you by e-mail or posted on the Website.

11.2 Failure by ITP to exercise or enforce any right conferred upon it shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any such right nor operate so as to bar the exercise or enforcement of that or any other right on any later occasion.


12.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.


13.1 Registration fees must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy:

· Cancellations made more than 8 weeks prior to the event will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee paid.

· Cancellations made 6 to 8 weeks prior to the event will receive a 25% refund of the registration fee paid.

· Cancellations made less than 6 weeks prior to the event will not receive a refund.
