We break down barriers and challenge perceptions to give more people the opportunity to have a career within our sector, regardless of age, gender, circumstance or background. We do not recruit for experience and qualifications but rather we focus on personality and interest.
Our rigorous recruitment process is designed to attract the best people and really bring out the best in them – We are proud that 90% of the apprentices that have started our scheme have been recruited by us.
We are proud to have a team of experts who have had first hand experience of being an apprentice themselves, making them best positioned to consult, recruit and support all apprentices and employers on our programme.
We are firm believers that when recruiting apprentices, the standard 1-2-1 interview isn't the most effective way to see the full potential of the candidate, that's why our assessment days have proving to be highly successful.

At our assessment centres, the apprentices will complete an engineering and aptitude test, and take part in group assessments. The candidates will then be invited to give a presentation about themselves and attend a one-to-one interview.
