The Position
Job Title: Technical Support Apprentice
Apprenticeship Course: Level 3 Information Communication Technician
Apprenticeship Duration: 18 Months
Location: Bristol, BS5
Working Hours: Flexible patterns 8-4 / 9-5 / 10-6
Salary: £13,000 to £15,000

Role and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide technical support and advice to residential and business subscribers in this exciting new junior position.

The successful candidate will be taught everything they need to know about the technologies, equipment, and software they use to deliver their customers' Internet and telephony experiences.

Someone to assist their technical support team is needed. They expect you to be the team's first point of contact, answering the phone and routing calls to the most appropriate person while learning to resolve customer issues directly.

The individual would be trained to perform basic troubleshooting and provide technical support to customers using the service.

If a candidate demonstrates a particular aptitude for a task or an interest in a specific area of the company, we will try to encourage their growth in that area.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge
Knowledge of internet-connected devices and their applications.
Organizational abilities Communication abilities, both verbally and through email.
When communicating technical issues, you must be confident and patient.
A logical mind that can work well under pressure.
A desire to learn new things on a regular basis.
Intermediate Word and Excel skills are required.
